WHAT HAVE WE BEEN PLAYING?
Motiga Games’ Gigantic has been eating our time this week – in a good way. This MOBA doesn’t feel like a MOBA to us. It feels much more welcoming than DOTA, League of Legends, or even Smite. Gigantic’s clean aesthetic also applies the the simplified gameplay. However, the tutorial seemed somewhat rushed and we both felt overwhelmed in our first handful of matches. While there is certainly a learning curve at the beginning, the game is incredibly fun and rewarding once you find a character that suits your play style. Alex loves Charnel and his ranged area-of-effect powers while Brandon enjoys Lord Knossos, who is a spear-wielding man-bull. Gigantic is great fun. Keep it up, Motiga.
